| Greetings from the North
It seems as though I have not updated in a whole two days! Now if anyone has been frequently reading my xanga (which I highly doubt) they should know that I update almost everyday with the exception of weekends and days that I'm too busy. Well yesterday I took a nap. It was a nice nap. Now onto my day...
Well it seems as though school is coming to a slow and steady close. I look back on the year and think of how fast it went by; but now, the weeks drag on as if they will never end. It's driving me mad. Not to mention a few certain individuals in most of my classes (I'm sure anyone in 8-10 will know who I'm talking about haha). Now this week has been an unusually insipid one. Today Laura and I went to the library. I got some good books that I am excited to read. Right now, I'm currently tackling Three by Ted Dekker. Very good book. Now I've just realized how sad it is that I'm talking about some book I am presently reading on my xanga...so I will stop. Although, today I finaly happened to tell my mother that my celluar is broke. I was hoping to wait awhile and just charge it untill it either exploded or...umm something else happened; that way, I could sue the company for giving me a defective phone. I decided that plan would take too long so I just told my mom that it wasn't my fault and well hopefully the cell phone company will compensate for my loss and replace it free of charge. Of course, it could just be a dead battery, but for what reason my battery died is unknownst to me, for the phone isn't even old and it's not like I use it super a lot. And see as to how I'm now rambling on about nothing, I'm going to conclude this entry with how juicey this episode of Lost is getting. It's the season finale. The Alias season finale is also on tonight. | | |
| This weekend was quite splendid...besides the part where I think I might have broken my cell phone...again! And now I don't even have insurance to cover it becuase I'm a "liability" and my insurance dropped me...so now if it really is broken I probably won't get another one. And this time I didn't even do anything to it. I mean I guess the other two or three times it was my fault for dropping it or losing it or what not...but this time I did nothing. Piece of shit cell phones...but anyway
Friday After school I hung out with Emily, Riss, Laura, and Karlye for a little, then I went to the dance. It's sad to know that it's the last dance of this year, and also of my Middle School years. I mean I guess I can go to them next year...but it just won't be the same haha. But anyway, I actually had a sort of good time at the dance I suppose. Then Laura spent the night. Very interesting night...haha.
Saturday We got up and ready and such and mostly just hung out and read at my house haha. Odd? Yes, but very relaxing. Then we went to the antique show but it ended up raining so we then went back to my casa. So yeah, I finaly finished some supa good book called How I Live Now. Strange in the sense that the main character was in love with her cousin...but it was about a war that took place in present times and it was quite interesting. (Just for the record). Anyway, later we went on a nice bike ride, then she went home. I cleaned my room after that. Funn.
Today was pretty much superb. I spent a large amount of my day at Hershey Park with Caleb for some Red Cross special thing. It really does pay off to be a volunteer:). But anyway, it was a super great day. On the way home, there was this cute little dog in the middle of the road. I decided to be nice and try to get out and catch it and take it to its home or something, but when I got out it started running away, so then I chased it for a long time and eventually it stopped. It turned around and looked at me with it's evil, little, beady eyes and it was asthough it was mocking me; as if t'were saying "Ha! Ha! You have flip-flops on and I have four legs and you're never going to catch me you stupid mutha fuck." Then it turned around and started running again. That's when I decided to stop chasing it and pretty much no longer cared if the damn thing got hit by a car. Needs to learn it lesson. | School = boring. I'm super glad summer is here...yet I'm kind of nervous about the whole step up to high school next year. Oh well. Soo after school, Laura and I went to the guys lax game and then later Kathy, Megan, Sara, and Amy joined us and it was supa fun. Now for some reason I'm pretty much in a really bad mood so I'm going to "express my feelings" in the form of making a list of the things that have been bothering me a lot lately.
List of Things That Bother Me A lot Lately
1.) People. I guess I've been a little oblivious to the world for, oh say, the past 14 years of my life, and only in the past few months have a I realized how...just...stupid everyone in our stupid school is. Maybe I'm just noticing it now, or people are just really starting to show their true selves, I don't know...but whatever it is, right now I'm about ready to go and shot about 80% of the student body in the Warwick Middle School. Actually that sounds like a threat and I don't want to get in trouble for making terroristic threats...so let's just say I'd like to punch everyone in the face really hard about 4 times.
2.) Car commercials. Now thjs is something that I've been pondering over for quite some time, but I still have no answer to the question, "Why are car commercials so queer?" It's like they make these super dramatic commercials about deer, and hott women, and babies riding in the back...and its like Who gives a fuck? Hello...you do not buy a car in the anticipation of going on a nice little drive through the Amazon, and then coming across a cute little puppy in the rode and...OMG! stop real quick! It's like...ugh maybe you should've been watching the rode and not the hott woman in the passanger seat?
3.) Life. Now here, I'm not trying to be all "Oh my life is so pointless I must die" sort of thing, but what I am saying...is that life is so pointless. Not just mine...but life in general. Our world is on a steady downfall towards hell. We're going nowhere, and fast. There are so many fat people in this world and yeah they try to blame it on fast food and what-not, but the reality of it all is that...We humans are lazy sonofa bitches. Everything has become so "convieniant" and "high-tech". Where did old fashion home cooked meals go? What happened to good ol' family nights. I'm not saying that I actually like spending time with my family (which I most certainly don't) or that I don't enjoy eating at fast food restuarants (my weakness) but it's just the gist of it all. Everyone is so wrapped up in their new high-tech gadgets and supa-fly jobs, that they don't even stop to smell the lilacs. I pretty much think that the end of the world started back with WW1, and that it's only getting worse as the years go on. Life is so full of sinfullness and it makes me very sad, especially when I know that I've taken part in some of it.
Now that I have gotten some of that out, I'm going to stop becuase this episode of the O.C. is getting very intense, and I also don't want to piss anyone off or cause any drama, and now I'm starting to feel like a hipocrite because, well I enjoy todays sociaty, despite our steady downfall towards hell. And... HOLY SHIT! Now someone just got shot...this just goes to prove that everyone always has to get all wrapped up in drugs, and their own lives that they have to go and attack their only brother who cares so much about them. | Today I had to go on some field trip for school. It was a theatrical performance that was supposed to be of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It was the worst 90 consecutive minutes of my life. I hate field trips. Anyway...after school I had to go and get my allergy shot. I hate those too. But then after that Emily and I went for a nice bike ride. It was pleasant. After that I pretty much just came home and tackled my currect object of literature: How I Live Now. Quite interesting. Now I'm watching Lost.<33
